About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Inspection Engineer to inspect process piping, pipelines, welding, installation and mechanical turbomachinery packages.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- S1 degree in mechanical/Material engineering or science
- Have strong experience to carry out inspection activties on Mechanical Turbo Machinery Package.
- Have a good understanding of applicable codes and standards such as: API 1104, API 5L, ASME B 31.3, ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, ASME Section IX and other codes and standards related to pipeline welding and installation.
- Certification qualified by FROSIO or National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) level 2 certificate
- Have a good knowledge painting/ coating inspection in oil and gas facilities, certified NACE level 2 or equivalent is preferred
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
- The Candidate shall be fully trained and have a minimum of 10 years experiences in inspection of process piping; pipeline welding and installation, and other work associated with fabrication of onshore and offshore facilities for Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industries.
- Holding CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent Welding Inspector certificate
- Certified NDT personal to recognize standard (ASNT, PCN and BATAN), holding at least 3 (Three) method: RT, UT, MT/PT level 2
- Good written and spoken English

- Ability to perform the essential job functions safely and consistently.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance and work the schedule required by the assignment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams, contractors, vendors and other stakeholders.
- Ability to travel and work in office, fabrication-yard, onshore or offshore project environments as required by the assignment.
