Role Description The Mechanical Technician at Processing Technical Services, Najwatech will be responsible for performing daily mechanical maintenance activities on production and processing equipment in an on-site environment located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role includes inspecting machinery, identifying mechanical issues, and executing repairs to minimize downtime and support safe, continuous operations. The Mechanical Technician will follow maintenance schedules, complete work orders, document performed tasks, and support root cause analysis for recurring issues. The role also involves collaborating with engineers and operations teams during equipment installations, upgrades, and performance tests, while adhering to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- 10 Years Minimum in Poultry Maintenance especially Primary and Secondary Areas.
- Strong skills in Maintenance & Repair and general Maintenance, with the ability to perform routine and corrective mechanical work on industrial equipment.
- Hands-on experience in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance, including implementing scheduled servicing to reduce breakdowns and extend asset life.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting mechanical issues, diagnosing faults, and selecting effective solutions under time constraints.
- Diploma or technical certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field; a bachelor’s degree is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe use of tools and lifting equipment.
- Experience in Poultry processing, manufacturing, or industrial facility, preferably within similar technical services environments.
- Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, multi-shift team.
- Willingness to work on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and to support shift work, overtime, or call-outs as needed.
