KEY ACTIVITIES
- Act as the technical owner of designated machinery, managing all maintenance activities and follow-ups.
- Perform planned maintenance activities, including documentation, implementation, and preparation of services and spare parts.
- Conduct mechanical maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and preventive maintenance (PM).
- Support general maintenance tasks, including building maintenance and external equipment.
- Support on basic electrical tasks.
- Assist in the installation and qualification of new equipment.
- Implement and maintain compliance with program requirements such as DAMWISE, ISO 9002, HACCP, AIB, DAMAWAY, Neptune, and FSI.
- Effectively communicate shift activities through logbooks and shift meetings.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Necessary Knowledge and Experience
- Expert in mechanical process line troubleshooting.
- Extensive experience with APV process equipment, such as homogenizers, plate heat exchangers (PHEs), centrifugal pumps, and valves.
- Experience with GIA and Spirax Sarco valves and related process equipment.
- Extensive experience in dairy filling machines (Ultra Clean Machines) and handling mechanisms.
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Familiarity with other process equipment, including PCM screw pumps, Ystral mixers, and smoothers.
- Basic knowledge of process instrumentation.
- Basic knowledge of electrical equipment (sensors, motors, transmitters, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, technical drawings, and handling manuals.
- Strong teamwork and leadership qualities.
- Good command of English and Arabic.
Education and Certification Requirements
- BSc or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 8 years of relevant technical experience, including a preventive maintenance (PM) planning background.
