Role Description The MEP Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The role oversees day-to-day mechanical, electrical, and plumbing operations within assigned facilities, ensuring systems are maintained, repaired, and optimized according to company standards and regulatory requirements. The MEP Supervisor plans and coordinates maintenance activities, supervises technicians, monitors contractor performance, and ensures compliance with safety and quality procedures. Responsibilities include conducting regular site inspections, identifying issues, preparing reports, and implementing corrective and preventive actions. The role also involves collaborating with facility management teams, supporting cost-effective maintenance strategies, and contributing to continuous improvement of building performance.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in site supervision and site inspections, with the ability to oversee daily MEP activities and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Candidates should possess experience in facility management (FM), including coordination of maintenance services and support for integrated building operations.
- Candidates should possess technical skills in plumbing and related MEP systems, with practical knowledge of installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in building maintenance, including preventive and corrective maintenance planning for mechanical and electrical assets.
- Relevant engineering or technical diploma/degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services is preferred.
- Previous experience in MEP supervision within commercial, residential, or mixed-use facilities in the region is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to guide teams and coordinate with contractors and clients.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management systems, understanding of health and safety regulations, and willingness to work on-site across various facility conditions.
