Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Metallurgical Laboratory Inspector based in Baguio City. The role involves conducting detailed inspections of materials, components, and processes for quality compliance. Responsibilities include analyzing material properties, performing metallurgical testing, documenting test results, and preparing technical reports. The inspector will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in metallurgical testing methods, material analysis, and quality inspections.
- Understanding of industry-grade procedures for materials evaluation, defect analysis, and process assessment.
- Technical report writing and documentation skills, with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and address material-related issues effectively.
- Basic proficiency in the use of laboratory equipment, tools, and software relevant to metallurgical inspections.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing responsibilities independently.
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or related engineering field.
- Experience in quality control or laboratory analysis in the manufacturing or aerospace industry is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations in a laboratory and manufacturing setup.
