Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we’re looking to add a
** Mold Design Engineering Intern
** located in our
** Buffalo Grove, IL
** site.
Reporting to the
** Design & Engineering Manager,
** the student will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.
** What a typical day looks like:
*** Assist Engineering Team with continuous improvement project(s)
* Attend Design Status, Customer/Internal Review and Continuous Improvement Meetings
* Complete assigned work orders and provide 2D and 3D models
* Learn fundamentals of plastic injection mold design
* Update design guidelines and standards
* Work with the Tool Shop to obtain hands-on manufacturing experience
** Student qualities we’re seeking for this internship assignment:
*** Junior/Senior student pursuing Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment and interest in plastic injection molding process
* Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills
* Solidworks CAD and troubleshooting knowledge highly desired
* Previous internship experience a plus!
** Internship Program Requirements:
*** Available to work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment
* Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
* 3.0 minimum GPAPay Range (Applicable to Illinois)### ### $16.98 USD – $23.35 USD Hourly## ## Job Category Intern Relocation :
