Junior MSAT Scientist – Biologics

Spain | Full-time | Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing

We are supporting a growing biopharmaceutical manufacturing organisation looking to hire a Junior MSAT Scientist to join their Manufacturing Science & Technology team within a GMP-regulated biologics environment.

This is a hands-on role supporting manufacturing operations, process monitoring and technology transfer activities across biologics production processes, working closely with Manufacturing, QA, QC and Engineering teams.

The Role

You will support MSAT and manufacturing activities linked to process performance, GMP documentation and continuous improvement within a biologics production environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting manufacturing process monitoring and troubleshooting activities
  • Assisting with technology transfer and process validation activities
  • Reviewing and generating GMP documentation including SOPs, protocols and technical reports
  • Supporting deviation investigations, root cause analysis and CAPA activities
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Manufacturing, QA, QC and Engineering teams
  • Supporting continuous improvement and process optimisation initiatives
  • Working across upstream and/or downstream biologics manufacturing processes
  • Ensuring activities are carried out in compliance with GMP and quality standards

Your Profile

We’re looking for someone with early industry experience within biologics, biotechnology or biopharmaceutical manufacturing environments.

You will likely have:

  • Experience within a GMP-regulated biologics or biopharmaceutical environment
  • Exposure to MSAT, technical services, process development, manufacturing support or technology transfer activities
  • Understanding of upstream and/or downstream processing
  • Experience working with GMP documentation, SOPs and batch records
  • Exposure to deviations, investigations or CAPAs is advantageous
  • Degree background in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioprocess Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field
  • Spanish and English language skills preferred
