Key Responsibilities
- Operate and set up the Single Head Cutting Machine, Manual Copy Router, End Milling Machine, Notching Machine, and Corner Crimping Machine.
- Operate and monitor the 50 KW Screw Compressor to ensure a continuous and stable compressed air supply for production equipment.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, cutting lists, and work orders.
- Perform cutting, routing, milling, notching, and corner crimping operations with precision.
- Verify dimensions and quality of fabricated components using measuring instruments.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance.
- Report machine malfunctions and coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs.
- Minimize material wastage and optimize machine utilization.
- Maintain production records and meet daily production targets.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Coordinate with the Production Supervisor and Quality Control team to ensure smooth production.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school, ITI, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience operating aluminum fabrication machines in a façade, curtain wall, glazing, or aluminum manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read technical and fabrication drawings.
- Good knowledge of aluminum fabrication processes and machine operation.
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as tape measures, vernier calipers, and angle gauges.
- Basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety and quality standards.
