About the Role
Responsibilities include troubleshooting network, server, and peripheral device issues, managing and maintaining LAN, WAN, MAN, and enterprise network infrastructure, and providing Help Desk support.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot network, server, and peripheral device issues.
- Manage and maintain LAN, WAN, MAN, and enterprise network infrastructure.
- Configure and administer DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Domain Controllers, and Group Policies.
- Monitor and manage centralized IT infrastructure across multiple branches and head office.
- Configure ISP failover, load balancing, and VPN connectivity using MikroTik, FortiGate Firewall, and TP-Link Omada.
- Implement and maintain Cloudflare DDNS and automatic DNS failover for high availability.
- Strong knowledge of IP addressing, subnetting, VLANs, routing, switching, and NAT.
- Monitor network performance and ensure security, reliability, and uptime.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Servers, operating systems, and network devices.
- Provide Help Desk support and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Perform IT infrastructure planning, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
- Administer Microsoft SQL Server, including database backup, restore, and recovery.
- Maintain technical documentation and IT asset records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related area.
- 2 – 4 years' of experience with network administration in a Linux or Windows environment.
- Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of IP addressing, subnetting, VLANs, routing, switching, and NAT.
- Experience with DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and Group Policies.
- Proficiency in managing and maintaining network infrastructure.
