We are currently seeking an experienced Production Engineer (NPI) to support the introduction of new, technically complex semiconductor products into volume manufacturing.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a cutting-edge technology environment, working closely with engineering and production teams to ensure successful product industrialisation and manufacturing readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the transfer of new products from engineering into production.
- Define, implement, and optimise manufacturing processes and production flows.
- Monitor production performance, yield, quality, and efficiency metrics.
- Analyse large manufacturing data sets and provide technical insights and recommendations.
- Investigate production issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and customers throughout the product lifecycle.
Required Experience
- Experience within NPI, Production Engineering, Process Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering environments.
- Strong background in semiconductor manufacturing, with ASIC experience being essential.
- Understanding of probe card testing and semiconductor test processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience analysing large data sets.
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC), measurement system analysis (MSA), and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience working within highly regulated industries such as automotive, medical, or similar quality-driven environments is advantageous.
Preferred Skills:
Experience applying Six Sigma or other structured problem-solving methodologies.
Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both engineering and business stakeholders.
Hands-on approach with a strong focus on quality and operational excellence.
Contract Details:
