Position Overview

A. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Identifying value drivers, bottlenecks, and organizational barriers across university units.
  • Initiating and leading hands‑on improvement projects for core processes and strategic topics, using continuous improvement methodologies and project‑management tools — from planning through implementation and effectiveness evaluation.
  • Implementing standards, best practices, and unified work methods.

B. Performance Analysis, Metrics & Data

  • Defining, analyzing, and developing performance‑research models.
  • Workforce sizing and staffing analysis using research methods, measurements, and work‑study techniques.
  • Defining and implementing KPIs to support managerial decision‑making.
  • Data analysis to enable data‑driven decisions.

C. Implementing Operational Excellence Tools & Culture

  • Developing and implementing managerial tools and dashboards.
  • Building capabilities, training, and coaching stakeholders in operational‑excellence and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
  • Working with managers at various levels to support change management processes.
  • Establishing an organizational Center of Excellence (COE), as needed.

D. Additional tasks as assigned by the department manager.

Reports to: Head of the Organization & Methods Department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering & Management.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in O&M, operational excellence, process analysis, or operational consulting.
  • Proven experience implementing Lean tools and continuous‑improvement methodologies; experience in organizational analysis, work‑study, and workforce planning.
  • Experience developing KPIs, analyzing data, and preparing managerial reports.
  • Experience delivering training and leading groups.
  • Project‑management experience.
  • Experience working with senior management.
  • Experience writing and editing procedures and work instructions.
