- Monitor the real-time performance of solar PV and BES systems through SCADA, remote monitoring platform, and onsite inspections.
- Track energy generation, system availability, and performance ratios against benchmarks.
- Identify underperforming components or systems and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain system documentation, logs, and reports for daily, weekly, and monthly performance.
- Perform other related jobs/duties as may be assigned by the management from time to time.
- Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules for PV modules, inverters, transformers, switchgears, and other system components.
- Respond promptly to faults, alarms, and breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Coordinate repair or replacement of damaged components with vendors or subcontractors.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance work, energy generation, and equipment downtime.
- Generate and submit performance reports, incident reports, and maintenance logs to management and clients.
- Be on-call for urgent troubleshooting and emergency situations (e.g., fire, flooding, electrical failure).
- Lead a team of technicians during PMS activities.
- Perform other related jobs/duties as may be assigned by the management from time to time.
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering; Registered Electrical Engineer.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the renewable energy industry, with a focus on solar energy operation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with PV/BESS/DG systems operation; actual experience is a plus.
- Technical expertise in solar energy and battery systems and technologies.
- Familiarity with environmental and safety standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Preferably residing near the project location: Mabini, Davao de Oro.
