OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager with strong experience in the apparel industry to lead and oversee end-to-end operational functions within a fast-paced, performance-driven environment at a leading apparel manufacturing organization. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role requires a strategic thinker with proven expertise in managing large-scale apparel operations efficiently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes across all departments
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency
- Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams to achieve performance targets
- Monitor KPIs and prepare regular reports for senior management
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize workflow and resource allocation
PRE-REQUISITES:
- Proven experience in a senior operations role within the apparel industry (mandatory)
- Degree or Diploma in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or Production Management
- 8–12 years of experience in apparel manufacturing with minimum 3–5 years in a Factory Manager / Production Manager / Senior Production leadership role
- Experience managing large-scale export manufacturing operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
ADDITIONAL PREFERENCES :
- Professional qualifications in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience in apparel manufacturing processes, lean practices, and production planning
- Familiarity with modern operational tools and systems
