About the Project:
Bureau Veritas is seeking experienced Third Party Inspection (TPI) Piping Inspectors to support a major project at Wakayama Steel Works with one of Japan’s leading steel manufacturing facilities.
The assignment involves quality inspection of approximately 150 km of shop-fabricated seamless line pipe, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client quality requirements throughout the fabrication process.
Key Responsibilities
– Perform Third Party Inspection (TPI) activities during pipe fabrication.
– Inspect fabricated seamless piping and pipe spools throughout the manufacturing process.
– Witness fit-up, welding, dimensional inspections and NDT activities.
– Review quality documentation, inspection reports and manufacturing records.
– Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes and client requirements.
– Coordinate with the fabrication team, client representatives and quality personnel.
Requirements
– Minimum 8 years of experience in piping inspection or vendor inspection.
– Experience in shop fabrication or pipe fabrication facilities.
– Valid NDT Certifications
– Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG or Pipeline projects.
– Strong understanding of fabrication quality control and inspection procedures.
