Your responsibilities will span strategic market leadership, client engagement, business development, and project delivery oversight, all aimed at accelerating growth across various markets, including Corporate+Commercial, Health, Aviation, and Science and Technology, with a strong focus on Higher Education.
Client & Market Leadership
- Cultivate and enhance long-term, trustworthy client relationships through Jacobs’ global capabilities and tailored solutions.
- Act as the primary representative of Jacobs to higher education clients, emphasizing a relationship-driven, solutions-oriented approach.
- Engage executive-level stakeholders with high-quality thought leadership and unique market insights to elevate Jacobs’ profile.
- Understand client priorities and align Jacobs’ offerings with their institutional objectives and operational goals.
- Represent Jacobs at various industry events, expanding visibility within the higher education market.
Strategic Growth & Pursuit Leadership
- Identify and prioritize business opportunities that foster sustained growth in the Higher Education practice.
- Achieve defined sales targets in collaboration with the Executive Director of Sales within the region.
- Lead the development of competitive strategies and value propositions for major pursuits, ensuring optimal positioning.
- Coordinate the proposal development process, aligning teams and resources for maximum effectiveness.
- Participate actively in client interviews and presentations to enhance win probability.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry trends and competitors to position Jacobs for success.
Thought Leadership & Communications
- Create and share thought leadership pieces and strategic analyses to showcase Jacobs’ expertise in the higher education sector.
- Collaborate with teams to develop annual marketing plans that effectively communicate Jacobs’ innovations and successes.
- Provide industry insights to inform the development of high-value solutions.
People Leadership, Talent Development & Culture
- Attract and retain top talent while advancing Jacobs’ Inclusion & Diversity initiatives.
- Mentor and coach team members to cultivate a supportive and growth-oriented work environment.
- Contribute to global knowledge sharing by participating in Communities of Practice.
Project Delivery Support & Oversight
- Lead and oversee complex, strategic projects, ensuring adherence to client objectives, budgets, and quality expectations.
- Support project managers in areas such as scope, cost management, and contract oversight.
- Assist in organizing meetings and preparing necessary documentation.
- Review project-related documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Facilitate procurement processes effectively.
- Contribute to resolving project-related issues in a timely manner.
This position includes around 20% commitment to Regional Market Solutions Lead responsibilities and requires close collaboration with various key stakeholders. Your impact will be demonstrated through:
