Job Summary

We are partnering with well-established organization and seeking a highly driven and hands-on Plant Manager to lead and manage overall plant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automation systems, manufacturing efficiency, and cost & budget control, combined with a proactive mindset and the ability to quickly adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plant Operations Management

  • Oversee end-to-end plant operations including HR, Finance, production, engineering, quality, maintenance, and supply chain.
  • Ensure smooth, safe, and efficient daily operations aligned with company objectives.
  • Monitor and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, yield, downtime, and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

2. Automation & Process Improvement

  • Lead implementation and optimization of automation systems and production lines.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to upgrade and modernize machinery and systems.
  • Identify opportunities for digitalization and smart manufacturing solutions.

3. Cost & Budget Control

  • Develop and manage plant budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Monitor operational expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve financial performance.
  • Analyze production cost structures and drive efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure optimal resource allocation (labor, materials, equipment).

4. Team Leadership & People Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Build a high-performance culture with strong accountability and engagement.
  • Foster collaboration across departments and promote continuous learning.

5. Strategic Execution

  • Translate business strategies into actionable plant-level plans.
  • Support business growth through capacity planning, efficiency improvement, and operational scalability.
  • Provide regular performance reports and insights to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 3–5 years in plant leadership role.
  • Strong experience in automation production lines (e.g., robotics, PLC, smart factory systems).
  • Proven track record in cost control, budgeting, and operational efficiency improvement.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma is highly preferred.
