As a key part of the team at Fairmont Chateau Whistler, you will ensure the operational integrity of our resort. Your responsibilities include preventative maintenance, servicing guest areas, and compliance with cleanliness standards in mechanical rooms. The role also involves maintaining Health Club facilities and being an active member of the Emergency Response Team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct preventative maintenance and servicing of the physical plant
• Perform repairs in public and guest areas promptly
• Ensure compliance in mechanical room cleanliness
• Maintain Health Club facilities including hot tubs and pools
• Serve on the Emergency Response Team as needed
Requirements:
• 4th Class Power Engineering Designation required
• Pool Operator Level 1 certification
• HVAC experience is a plus
• Familiarity with computerized energy management systems
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
