Lead the successful commissioning of critical railway power systems that will help shape the future of rail transportation in Egypt.
Colas Rail Egypt is seeking an experienced Power Supply Testing & Commissioning Manager to join the AQM Project. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring that power supply systems are safely tested, fully compliant, and ready for operation. Working at the heart of a major railway infrastructure project, you will play a direct role in delivering reliable and high-performing electrical systems that support safe and efficient railway operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement testing and commissioning plans for railway power supply systems.
- Lead and coordinate testing and commissioning activities for rectifier stations, MV/LV distribution networks, traction power systems, lighting systems, and auxiliary power installations.
- Manage and supervise engineers, technicians, and subcontractors during commissioning phases.
- Ensure all testing activities comply with project specifications, safety requirements, and applicable industry standards.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, construction, quality, and project teams to ensure readiness for commissioning.
- Review and approve test procedures, method statements, and commissioning documentation.
- Oversee functional and performance testing, including protection systems and electrical network verification.
- Support interface and integration testing with other railway subsystems.
- Identify, manage, and resolve technical issues that may impact commissioning activities.
- Ensure accurate reporting, documentation, punch-list management, and final system handover.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in testing and commissioning of power supply systems within railway or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of traction power systems, rectifier stations, and MV/LV electrical networks.
- Experience with high-voltage testing and commissioning activities.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
- Familiarity with international electrical standards and railway industry requirements.
