Position Overview
PVN is a fast-growing technology company behind a No-code Website Builder that integrates marketing, booking, and payment features. To support our global expansion, we have opened a new branch in Da Nang, Vietnam, and are looking for a Principal Engineer to lead technical direction and drive engineering excellence.
In this role, you will lead the local development team, shape system architecture, and collaborate closely with our HQ in Japan to streamline processes and deliver innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the local engineering team in Da Nang and ensure delivery of high-quality software aligned with product goals.
- Foster an agile and collaborative team culture with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Guide system architecture decisions, technology selection, and infrastructure planning.
- Introduce and promote DevOps (DORA) and trunk-based development practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and build the next generation of engineering leaders within the branch.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across Vietnam and Japan.

Requirements
🔹 Must have:
- 8+ years of experience in web application development.
- Experience designing products and infrastructure as a full stack
- Decent communication English skill to work with global members.
- Experience in operating and re-architecting systems operated more than 5 years.
- Hand-on experience with designing and tuning complex relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL.
- Highly productive in coding, designing, and unit testing with Linux and web-based application’s frameworks (fluent in at least two of the following: Ruby on Rails, NestJS, Laravel, CakePHP, Django, etc.).
- Experience in team management.

- Experience in Frontend frameworks (e.g., Vue.js)
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, or SRE practices
- Experience using AI tools to enhance team productivity.
- Experience developing AI-driven features for products.
