Position: Process Control Architect I, BRS
Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and security-conscious Server Management Specialist to support our Operations Technology (OT) infrastructure. This role is essential in maintaining the reliability, performance, and cybersecurity of servers that support industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA environments, and other mission-critical OT assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain OT servers (Windows/Linux) in industrial environments
- Ensure high availability and redundancy of OT systems supporting manufacturing or critical infrastructure
- Monitor server health, performance, and security using specialized OT monitoring tools
- Manage backups, disaster recovery, and patching schedules in compliance with OT change control policies
- Collaborate with OT cybersecurity teams to enforce network segmentation, access controls, and compliance standards (e.g., NERC CIP, NIST 800-82)
- Support virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware ESXi) and hyperconverged infrastructure in OT networks
- Maintain detailed documentation of server configurations, network diagrams, and system baselines
- Coordinate with Automation Engineering, maintenance, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of OT systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in server administration, preferably in OT or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux systems
- Familiarity with ICS/SCADA systems (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens, GE, Schneider Electric)
- Experience with OT-specific cybersecurity practices and standards
- Proficiency in virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and backup solutions (e.g., Veeam)
- Scripting experience (Power Shell, Bash) is a plus
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
Preferred Certifications
- CompTIA Server+ or Network+
- Microsoft Certified:
Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate - GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)
- ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Certificate
