Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Process Engineer. Candidate must be comfortable working remotely and should have solid experience in water treatment system engineering and design, process mechanical systems, and water chemistry. Duties of this role include engineering and design of water and wastewater treatment systems and support with business development initiatives.
Compensation
Base pay will be based on experience, education, and ability to secure new work, ranging from $120K to +$180K, +sign-on bonus, +annual bonuses, +commission incentives for new contracts, +full benefits.
Required Qualifications
NOTE: Candidates must have these minimum qualifications to be considered
- Minimum of 8 years of cumulative career experience, 5 of which must be in water treatment plant engineering and design as a consulting engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, chemistry, or a related field is required
- Familiarity with various different passive and active water treatment technologies–IX, GAC, MBR, MBBR, RO, UF, NF, MicroF, methods of pH control, flocc-coag Rx, HDS and LDS Rx, bioRx, etc.
- Proficiency with Bluebleam, Plant 3D, Revit, and other related CAD platforms
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Industrial/ private sector W/ WWTP engineering and design experience for data centers, pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, mining, automotive, power & utilities, food & beverage, and nuclear
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in engineering, environmental science, chemistry, or a related field
- Experience in regulatory affairs and the ability to navigate compliance frameworks
- Strong background in research and development (R&D) and conducting scientific research
