What you need to know
Matrix Recruitment is recruiting a Process Engineer for our manufacturing client based in Carlow. This hands-on role focuses on process improvement, Lean manufacturing, and automation projects, with the opportunity to work closely with UK sites and gain exposure to international engineering projects and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and productivity through process improvement initiatives.
- Lead Lean projects focused on waste reduction and process optimisation.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities across production operations.
- Investigate operational issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and EHS teams to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering.
- 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
- Background in FMCG, food, packaging, high-volume, or industrial manufacturing.
- Strong Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and problem-solving experience.
- Knowledge of process mapping, SOPs, and root cause analysis with a proven track record of delivering operational improvements.
