Job Overview

Our client, one of the fastest-growing commercial solar engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) companies in the nation, is looking to bring on a Procurement Manager to build and manage the company's supply chain infrastructure. This hire will be a pivotal additional to the company's operations division and will ultimately own vendor sourcing, equipment procurement, and materials logistics from pre-construction through project closeout. This role is a full-time position with our client.

Job Responsibilities

  • Equipment & Materials Procurement: own the procurement lifecycle for all solar construction components, negotiate pricing with suppliers, manage domestic content compliance documentation, maintain an approved vendor list, and coordinate with internal stakeholders on material takeoffs, submittals, and delivery scheduling
  • Subcontractor & Vendor Management: source, qualify, and onboard electrical, civil, and specialty subcontractors in new and existing markets, issue RFPs and evaluate bids, manage Master Subcontractor Agreements (MSAs), and track subcontractor insurance, licensing, and compliance requirements by state
  • Cost Control & Budgeting: build and maintain procurement budgets, identify value engineering, and manage PO issuance, change order processing, and invoice reconciliation
  • Logistics & Scheduling: coordinate equipment deliveries to job sites, maintain procurement schedules integrated with construction timelines, and manage relationships with freight brokers, logistics providers, and bonded warehouses.
  • Compliance & Documentation: maintain procurement documentation required for domestic content adder claims, support FEOC compliance reviews, ensure and procurement records are audit-ready

Successful Candidates Must Have:

  • 5+ years of C&I and/or utility-scale solar procurement experience including solar modules, inverters, racking systems, and/or BESS from Tier 1 and alternative suppliers
  • A firm understanding of IRA domestic content and FEOC compliance requirements
  • A proven ability to negotiate contracts, MSAs, and equipment purchase agreements
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proficiency with procurement/project management platforms and standard office tools
  • Familiarity with multi-state EPC operations, AHJ requirements, and state-specific subcontractor licensing rules is a plus
