We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Product & Manufacturing Engineering Executive to join our leadership team in Cape Town. You will provide strategic and operational leadership across Engineering, Maintenance, and Toolroom functions—ensuring world-class manufacturing performance, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement.   • Minimum Requirements Education:
  • B.Eng / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
  • GCC (advantageous)
  • 10–15 years’ relevant experience
  • Minimum 5 years in senior management
  • Proven exposure to machining processes and/or assembly operations (non-negotiable)
  • Strong project management experience
  • ERP experience (SAP advantageous)
  • English (fluent)
  • Key Responsibilities Engineering Leadership
  • Ensure accuracy of Product Master Data (BOMs, routings, etc.) for efficient manufacturing
  • Drive compliance with industry standards and group requirements
  • Lead innovation initiatives to improve throughput and reduce costs
  • Oversee configuration management and ERP (SAP) master data integrity
  • Partner with customers (local & international) to meet technical requirements
  • Lead technical investigations and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop and implement best engineering practices
  • Support production process development and optimization
  • Drive CAPEX initiatives aligned to cost savings and capacity improvements
  • Act as GMR 2.1 Appointed Competent Person (Supervisor of Machinery)
  • Lead and manage Maintenance and Toolroom departments
  • Drive preventative maintenance and TPM culture
  • Ensure optimal service levels to support manufacturing operations
  • Improve tooling availability and reliability
  • Champion a strong safety culture across all functions
  • Define and execute departmental vision aligned with company strategy
