We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Product & Manufacturing Engineering Executive to join our leadership team in Cape Town. You will provide strategic and operational leadership across Engineering, Maintenance, and Toolroom functions—ensuring world-class manufacturing performance, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement. This role is critical in aligning engineering capabilities with business objectives while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

- Minimum Requirements Education:
- B.Eng / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- GCC (advantageous)
- 10–15 years’ relevant experience
- Minimum 5 years in senior management
- Proven exposure to machining processes and/or assembly operations (non-negotiable)
- Strong project management experience
- ERP experience (SAP advantageous)
- English (fluent)
- Key Responsibilities Engineering Leadership
- Ensure accuracy of Product Master Data (BOMs, routings, etc.) for efficient manufacturing
- Drive compliance with industry standards and group requirements
- Lead innovation initiatives to improve throughput and reduce costs
- Oversee configuration management and ERP (SAP) master data integrity
- Partner with customers (local & international) to meet technical requirements
- Lead technical investigations and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and implement best engineering practices
- Support production process development and optimization
- Drive CAPEX initiatives aligned to cost savings and capacity improvements
- Act as GMR 2.1 Appointed Competent Person (Supervisor of Machinery)
- Lead and manage Maintenance and Toolroom departments
- Drive preventative maintenance and TPM culture
- Ensure optimal service levels to support manufacturing operations
- Improve tooling availability and reliability
- Champion a strong safety culture across all functions
- Define and execute departmental vision aligned with company strategy
