We are passionate about electric bicycles. Each team member of our sales and technical staff is highly trained and has hands-on experience with electric bicycles. With strong growth and expansions in place, we are now seeking a Product and Quality Engineer to join us based in Barcelona. You will have a strong quality management background with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Reporting directly to operations director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the key link between the local team and overseas production facilities on product knowledge and quality improvement.
- Identify product quality problems and potential solutions; analyze data to determine causes and effects; implement corrective actions; monitor progress; and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Plan, organize, conduct, and oversee product quality improvement projects.
- Develop and implement technical specification sheets, repair and troubleshooting procedures.
- Provide product technical and troubleshooting support to both B2B and B2C customers.
- Management of local electrical safety registrations
What we need from you:
- Tertiary Qualifications in: Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Quality Management.
- *** Mandarin Speaking highly regarded ***
- Knowledge or experience in ISO 9001, QMS management, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective action.
- Minimum of 2 years working in a similar field.
- E-Bike knowledge, particularly in e-bike electrical systems highly regarded but not essential.
- Technical mindset with attention to detail
- Very strong IT skills (office applications, collaborating software, e-commerce systems, QMS software, Excel)
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Able to use initiative and remain calm under pressure.
