Schedule: 8 weeks on/ 3 weeks off
About The Role
This is a site-based position managing a Ground Support contract, working closely with operations, technical teams, and senior stakeholders to ensure strong product performance, contract delivery, and customer value.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead product performance, trials, audits, and technical problem-solving
- Build strong relationships with engineering, operations, and purchasing teams
- Drive KPIs, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide product training and technical support
- Identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency
- Ensure strict EHS compliance
- Act as the primary technical point of contact at site
Job Requirements
- Relevant qualifications in mining engineering, operations, and/or mining technology
- Qualifications in geotechnical, geological, or mechanical engineering, or demonstrated expertise as an underground drill operator
- Experience in underground mining or underground construction
- Experience in contract management, continuous improvement, and/or customer relationship management
- Understanding of ground support products and applications
- Strong hands-on experience in underground mining operations with knowledge of ground support systems
- Practical understanding of ground conditions, installation techniques, and mining safety standards
- Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders
- Strong documentation, report writing, and presentation skills
- Ability to prepare detailed reports and correspondence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software systems including ERP
- Mechanically inclined
