Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee factory operations and ensure the achievement of production targets while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. The successful candidate will lead production teams, manage plant operations, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure optimal utilization of resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute production operations to achieve monthly production targets.
  • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure smooth plant operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Lead and supervise production teams, ensuring effective workforce utilization.
  • Monitor operational costs and contribute to financial management and reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement, process optimization, and CAPEX projects.
  • Oversee production planning, shift scheduling, and material management.
  • Maintain accurate operational records, ERP updates, and management reports.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound material activities and inventory controls.
  • Promote good housekeeping, plant security, and operational discipline.

Qualifications & Experience

  • HND, Diploma, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, NDT, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 2 years of managerial experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, plant operations, maintenance management, and health & safety practices.
  • Experience in process manufacturing, alternative fuels, renewable energy, chemical, recycling, or related industries will be an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
