Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Production Supervisor role based in Bintan Regency. The Production Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met. Responsibilities include organizing and monitoring production schedules, allocating resources, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and minimize downtime. The role involves supervising and coaching production team members, conducting shift meetings, and maintaining accurate production records and reports. The Production Supervisor also supports continuous improvement initiatives, implements standard operating procedures, and contributes to a culture of safety, efficiency, and collaboration on the production floor.
Qualifications
- Strong production leadership and supervisory skills, including team coordination, performance management, and coaching.
- Experience with production planning and managing production schedules to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
- Background in production management, including resource allocation, workflow optimization, and problem-solving on the shop floor.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, management, and cross-functional departments.
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards, quality systems, and continuous improvement methods (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Lean) is preferred.
- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Bintan Regency, including flexibility for shift work or overtime as needed.
- Prior experience in precision manufacturing or electronics/connector production is an advantage.
