Position Summary
We are seeking experienced Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers – Finishing & Fit-Out to support the successful delivery of a prestigious luxury resort and villa development project.
The ideal candidates will have strong experience with main contractors, EPC contractors, or construction companies, with proven expertise in managing finishing works, fit-out activities, architectural coordination, subcontractor management, technical submissions, and site execution for high-end hospitality, resort, hotel, or luxury residential projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate finishing and fit-out works from construction stage through project completion and handover.
- Supervise site execution activities including architectural finishes, interior works, villas, guest rooms, public areas, and luxury amenities.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, architects, suppliers, and project management teams.
- Review shop drawings, material submissions, samples, mock-ups, and technical documents.
- Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
- Monitor daily site progress, manpower, productivity, and work sequencing.
- Support planning and coordination of finishing activities to achieve project milestones.
- Identify technical issues and coordinate timely resolutions with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and construction standards.
- Conduct inspections and coordinate snagging, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Prepare site reports, progress updates, and technical documentation.
- Support coordination between architectural, MEP, interior design, and specialist contractors.
- Assist in quantity verification, material tracking, and subcontractor progress evaluation.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- Project Engineer: Minimum 5+ years of experience in finishing and fit-out works.
- Senior Project Engineer: Minimum 8+ years of experience in finishing and fit-out works.
- Proven experience with main contractors, EPC contractors, or construction companies.
- Strong experience in luxury hospitality, resort, hotel, villa, or high-end residential projects.
- Experience managing architectural finishes, interiors, joinery, flooring, ceilings, wall finishes, and specialist finishes.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, specifications, and finishing standards.
- Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong site management, problem-solving, and technical coordination skills.
Required Contracting Experience:
Candidates must have experience with:
- Major construction contractors / EPC contractors / design & build contractors.
- Large-scale luxury hospitality, resort, hotel, villa, mixed-use, or residential development projects.
- Construction-stage finishing and fit-out execution.
- Managing subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
- Reviewing shop drawings, material approvals, RFIs, method statements, and technical submissions.
- Coordinating architectural, interior, MEP, and specialist finishing works.
- Delivering projects under international construction standards and quality requirements.
Preferred Experience
- Luxury resort, 5-star hotel, branded hospitality, or ultra-luxury villa projects.
- Experience with international consultants, designers, and clients.
- High-end interior fit-out and bespoke finishing works.
- Knowledge of QA/QC procedures for finishing works.
- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and international construction practices.
- Experience working in GCC or international mega construction projects.
