Project Engineer | Subdivisions & DIT Road Projects | Well Know Mid-Tier Contractor
We are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to join a well-established civil contractor delivering a key road infrastructure projects and subdivisions, located in Adelaide and Mount Barker respectively.
Due to the high profile of this well known mid-tier contractor, their pipeline of work in solid and have a number of high profile DIT road projects and large subdivisions across Adelaide and Mount Barker.
The Role
You will be part of a high-performing delivery team working on a significant civil and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities will vary slightly depending on level but will include:
- Supporting the delivery of road construction works including bulk earthworks, pavements, drainage and associated infrastructure
- Programme coordination and short-term planning
- Managing subcontractors and site crews to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to specification
- Quality assurance, ITPs, inspections and documentation
- Cost tracking, forecasting and reporting (Project Engineer level)
- Liaising with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
- Proven experience working on road or civil infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and site-based delivery
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced project environment
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
