Job Description
As a Project Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective project coordination. Your monitoring of project progress and adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards will help maintain project efficiency and deliver high-quality results.
You will report directly to our Sr Project Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Mexico City location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the company's success by ensuring the successful execution and delivery of engineering projects, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to technical ideation by actively participating in team discussions, generating ideas, and providing technical input to support product and process improvements.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams including Operations, R&D, Procurement, and other stakeholders.
- Support redesign projects, engineering changes, and supplier change initiatives to improve performance, cost, or quality.
- Support project management activities, including the generation of ideas and concepts for current products and processes.
- Take ownership of existing engineering projects, ensuring effective execution and delivery.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in project engineering or related roles.
- Outstanding communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Basic understanding of project management principles and engineering processes.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Creativity.
