Project Manager Jobs in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia at Reo Group
Title: Project Manager
Company: Reo Group
Location: Adelaide, South Australia, Australia
Location: Lonsdale
Role Overview:
Reporting into senior leadership, the Project Manager will take full ownership of a major infrastructure contract from execution through to completion, while simultaneously overseeing a significant capital equipment integration project at the manufacturing facility.
On a daily basis, you will manage the interface between internal manufacturing teams and a Tier 1 head contractor, coordinating across engineering, production, procurement, and finance to keep delivery on track. Weekly, you will monitor schedule and cost performance, manage contractual obligations, and maintain clear reporting lines across all workstreams. Monthly, you will provide structured financial and project performance reporting to senior leadership, with a focus on margin protection, risk mitigation, and milestone achievement.
In this role, your impact is direct and commercial. You will administer a complex head contract, manage variations, progress claims, extensions of time, and formal correspondence, while simultaneously driving the integration and commissioning of new capital equipment within the facility. You will operate as the primary point of contact for the client, and as the central coordinator across internal teams and international technical stakeholders.
This role suits a commercially sharp, autonomous operator who is equally credible on a production floor and in a boardroom, someone who identifies risk early, communicates with clarity, and delivers without needing day-to-day direction.
Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of major project delivery, developing and managing the overall execution plan across manufacturing, logistics, and site interfaces
- Administer the head contract including progress claims, variations, extensions of time, delay notices, and all formal correspondence
- Oversee the integration, installation, commissioning, and performance validation of new capital equipment within the facility
- Track project financial performance against budget, support cashflow forecasting, and drive margin protection across all workstreams
- Maintain project risk registers, ensure adherence to QA/QC processes and Inspection Test Plans, and implement mitigation strategies across technical, commercial, and logistical risks
Candidate Profile
- 10 or more years in project management or equivalent delivery roles, with demonstrated experience managing contracts valued at $20M or above
- Background in industrial operations or manufacturing, with direct experience interfacing with or running a production environment
- Proven track record delivering complex infrastructure or capital projects end-to-end, from contract execution through to commissioning
- Experience in pipe, precast concrete, civil construction, or process manufacturing strongly preferred
- Strong command of contract administration, financial literacy, and proficiency in project scheduling tools
