Position Description

We are currently looking for a Project Manager who is ready to engage on Treatment Plant projects in Colorado both hard bid and CMAR / CMGC. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of the project, ensuring compliance, developing schedules, managing budgets, and leading safety and team development activities. Projects include the Boulder Clarifier replacement and the Town of Eagle WWTP CMGC improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Manages all aspects of the project, including construction, budget, cash management, and compliance with the contract and owner needs.
  • Develops and manages project schedule, pay estimates, procedures, and equipment resources.
  • Develops and manages the project organizational chart and staffing assignments.
  • Provides technical insight to project pursuits and participates in bid interviews; assesses initial contract and resolves specification conflicts.
  • Engages with all project stakeholders proactively, including managing partners, landowners, business owners, and regulatory bodies.
  • Coordinates with the construction management team to identify risks and negotiate change orders.
  • Supports and promotes project safety; reviews safety reports and attends safety meetings.
  • Reviews and approves staffing and equipment needs for efficient production.
  • Negotiates dispute resolutions with owners, engaging legal counsel when needed.
  • Provides input on equipment procurement methods and contracts.
  • Leads project closeout procedures and debriefing cycle.
  • Maintains knowledge of company values and strategic plan.
  • Performs additional assignments as directed.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in highly complex treatment plant or heavy civil projects in the United States.
  • Experience managing subcontracts, subcontractors, and self‑perform work.
  • Experience leading a successful project team, developing employees, and maintaining external relationships.
  • Excellent organizational, team management, problem‑solving, and motivational skills.
