About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Supervisor to oversee and coordinate project activities from planning through execution. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage project teams and stakeholders while supporting the organization's operational and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily project activities to ensure work is carried out according to project plans and specifications.
- Develop, monitor, and update project schedules to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Manage project resources, including manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Control project costs and assist in maintaining project expenditures within the approved budget.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports, project updates, and documentation to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards throughout project execution.
- Lead project teams by providing guidance, support, and effective communication to achieve project objectives.
- Resolve project-related issues and challenges in a timely and professional manner.
Qualitifacation
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project supervision, project management, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of project planning, execution, cost control, scheduling, and project monitoring.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and team management skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and project management tools.
- Willing to be based in Batam and available to join immediately.
