🔷 We're Hiring | Senior Quality Manager – Welding & Mechanical Assembly
📍 Port of Antwerp, Belgium
We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to take ownership of quality performance on a petrochemical project in Antwerp.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who knows how to manage complex welding and mechanical assembly scopes, lead teams on site, and act as the main quality interface with the client.
📌 Your role:
• Lead and coordinate the site quality team across welding and mechanical activities
• Represent the company towards the client on all quality matters
• Resolve non-conformances, technical deviations, and quality issues efficiently
• Drive inspections, documentation flow, and quality compliance on site
• Report directly to project management and client quality leadership
• Build trust, maintain transparency, and keep standards high under pressure
🎯 What we’re looking for:
• 10+ years of experience in quality roles within petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy industry
• Strong background in welding, piping, mechanical assembly, and QA/QC systems
• Proven experience managing quality teams on large industrial projects
• Strong communicator who can deal with clients, inspectors, and management
• Decisive leader with ownership mentality
⭐Certifications:
• IWE – International Welding Engineer
• IWI – International Welding Inspector
• CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2
• NDT qualifications are a plus
🗣️ Languages:
• English – mandatory
• Dutch – strong plus
• Spanish – plus
