Qualified Motor Mechanic (Growth Opportunity)

POSITION INFO:
Role: Qualified Mechanic
Location: Hermanus, Overstrand, Western Cape
Salary: TBC
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a qualified mechanic within a workshop environment
- “Red Seal” qualification or similar trade certification will be advantageous
- Strong technical and mechanical knowledge
- Good communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Valid driver’s licence
- Computer literacy and experience with workshop administration
- Proactive, with the ability to take initiative

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance to a high standard
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and within agreed timeframes
- Maintain quality control and uphold workshop standards
- Assist with general workshop administration where required
- Support a smooth workflow within the workshop environment
- Engage with customers where needed regarding repairs and feedback
- Adhere to all safety procedures and workshop policies
A 3-month probation period will apply. Upon successful completion, the role will become permanent.
