Title: Manufacturing Quality Analyst

Details: 24-month contract with ongoing need, opportunity for direct hire, fully onsite role

Pay Rate: $36.00 – 40.00/hr. with benefit inclusions

3rd shift position 11am – 7pm with some flexibility for start and end times –

Training will be completed on 1st shift for approximately 2 months before transitioning to 3rd shift

Job Summary

The Quality Analyst evaluates product conformance, manages nonconformance disposition decisions, and coordinates communication related to quality concerns and process changes across manufacturing teams. This role works closely with production, engineering, quality, and leadership to analyze inspection results, resolve quality issues, and support continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Review inspection and metrology results to determine product conformance.
  • Evaluate nonconforming material and determine disposition (rework, accept, or scrap).
  • Identify rework solutions to bring product back into compliance.
  • Analyze quality data and trends to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
  • Manage and communicate Process Change Notifications (PCNs).
  • Coordinate communication between manufacturing, engineering, quality, and leadership teams.
  • Document quality findings, recommendations, and next steps.
  • Ensure effective handoff and continuity between third-shift and first-shift operations.

Years Of Experience And Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred.
  • Associate degree with relevant experience may be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, inspection, metrology, engineering support, or related environments.

Skills Required

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of ANSI standards preferred.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and nonconformance management.
  • Experience with metrology, inspection methods, and quality analysis.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across production, engineering, quality, and leadership teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
