Role Description The Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer is responsible for overseeing and implementing QA/QC processes for construction projects to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. This full-time, on-site role in Abu Dhabi includes preparing and reviewing inspection and test plans, conducting site inspections, monitoring construction activities, and documenting quality-related findings. The engineer will coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues, prevent non-conformities, and support continuous improvement. Daily tasks also involve reviewing material approvals, verifying workmanship, maintaining quality records, participating in internal audits, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality policies. The role requires active involvement in pre-construction planning, ongoing quality monitoring, and final handover documentation.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Control, including monitoring work execution, verifying materials, and ensuring compliance with project standards.
- With Minimum of 5 yrs relevant experience.
- Candidates should possess solid Quality Assurance and Quality Management skills to design, implement, and maintain project-specific quality plans and procedures.
- Candidates should possess experience in Quality Auditing and Inspection, including conducting site audits, preparing reports, and following up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Relevant experience in construction QA/QC, preferably in structural projects and government-sector works.
- Knowledge of local and international construction codes, standards, and best practices.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and coordination abilities to work with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with QA/QC software or digital inspection tools.
- Commitment to safety, ethical practices, and continuous improvement in project delivery.
- Currently based in UAE
- Able to attend personal in Abu Dhabi
