Role Description The Quality Control Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Amman, responsible for ensuring that software products and services meet defined quality standards before release. Day-to-day tasks include designing and executing test plans, creating test cases, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues. The person in this role will analyze system performance, validate functionality against requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement of quality processes and documentation. The Quality Control Engineer will also participate in reviews of technical specifications, provide clear feedback on product quality, and support the implementation of quality assurance and quality management practices across projects.
Qualifications
- Strong Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills, with experience in testing software applications and validating deliverables against requirements.
- Solid Analytical Skills and attention to detail for identifying patterns, diagnosing issues, and improving quality processes.
- Knowledge of Quality Management principles, standards, and best practices in software development environments.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, documenting findings, and presenting clear reports.
- Experience with manual and/or automated testing tools, defect tracking systems, and test documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Ability to work on-site in Amman, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies is highly beneficial.
