Job Specifications
- Assist with day-to-day operations within the Quality Control Department
- Read and Follow all quality control procedures
- Quality Control Testing and Documentation
- Assist in performing internal/external audits to insure quality control requirements are implemented or maintained to company standards
- Perform inspection of work in various disciplines, as required
- Assist in resolution of company nonconformance reported by others
- Perform additional duties per direction of management
- Must be willing to work varied hours, as production demands
- Must be able to read blue prints, measure accurately, and have a solid understanding of concrete manufacturing.
- Must be able to work well with all personality types
- Must display potential and willingness to learn and grow
- Inspecting and verifying the accuracy of dimensions and condition of molds
- Verifying batching, mixing, material handling, placing, consolidating, curing, product handling and storage procedures
- Verifying the proper fabrication and placement of reinforcement, and quality and location of cast-in items
- Inspecting tensioning operations to ensure conformance with specified procedures
- Preparing or evaluating mix designs
- Taking representative test samples and performing required tests
- Inspecting finished products for conformance with shop drawings, approved samples, and project requirements
- Preparing and maintaining complete quality control records
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, and understand, and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Must be able to write neatly for documentation
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Knowledge of a Precast quality control, preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills is essential
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Experience with SCC Mix design and Conventional Concrete Mix design and chemistry, preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish, not required, but a plus

Pay: $17.00 – $27.00 per hour
