Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Quality Control Technician role based in Odessa, FL. The Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring product and process compliance to internal procedures as well as external standards and regulatory requirements. The QualityTechnician will be required to perform evaluation of material and work of others, investigate internal and external nonconformances, perform material movement activities, and support the Quality Engineers and Operations team in meeting goals. The role requires attention to detail, analytical proficiency, and the ability to adhere to strict protocols.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes and techniques
- Strong Analytical Skills for data interpretation and problem-solving
- Experience with inspection and measuring equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Knowledge of ISO and FDA Quality System Requirements preferred
- Attention to detail and the ability to document and report findings accurately
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Experience with quality standards in healthcare or manufacturing industries is a plus
- Must be able to sit or stand intermittently for up to 8 hours daily. Must be able to bend, twist, push, pull, and lift products varying in weight. Products 50lbs or less unassisted products more than 50lbs assisted.
- Experience with electrical components and products preferred.
- 2-4 Years experience in Quality Inspection
- Experience in a medical device manufacturing environment complying with ISO13485 and FDA 21CFR Part 820 regulatory requirements.
- High School Diploma required. Associate degree or higher in a relevant field such as science, engineering, or quality management preferred
