Beacon Search Group has a client in the Toledo, OH area seeking a Quality Engineer. This is a direct hire position with great benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality System Management: Maintain the local QMS, manage tool calibration systems, oversee the Positive Material Identification (PMI) program, and control site documentation.
- Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement: Utilize root cause analysis to drive corrective actions, file Non-Conformance Reports with vendors, and lead Lean/process improvement initiatives.
- Audits & Compliance: Coordinate, prepare, and host internal, customer, and third-party compliance audits.
- Operations & Customer Support: Perform material inspections, analyze order requirements, manage customer complaints/returns within the ERP system, and provide technical responses to industry specifications.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect and analyze facility claim data, host local performance meetings, and proactively manage project workflows.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years in Quality Engineering within manufacturing or a related industrial field.
- Technical Knowledge: 2+ years of experience with root cause analysis, auditing, or working within highly regulated industries.
