Company Description AIMS International USA is an executive search firm that serves many international clients in the industrial segment. We are working for a state of the art glass manufacturing company based in Chicago.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Engineer role based in Chicago. The Quality Engineer will help to design, implement, and maintain quality processes and standards across products and services, working closely with engineering, operations, and project teams reporting to the Quality Manager. Daily responsibilities include performing root-cause analysis, defining corrective and preventive actions, and monitoring quality metrics to ensure compliance with internal standards and customer requirements. The role involves conducting/supporting audits and inspections, reviewing documentation, and supporting validation and testing activities to ensure product quality and reliability. The Quality Engineer will also collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives and assist in maintaining certifications and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Quality Engineering and Product Quality, with experience applying quality tools and methodologies in practical settings.
  • Hands-on experience in Quality Control, including inspections, testing, and documentation of quality results.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management principles, systems, and standards, with the ability to help build, maintain, and improve quality frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with root-cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone), statistical process control, and continuous improvement practices (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools to track quality metrics and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively on-site with cross-functional teams .
  • Experience in a regulated or standards-driven environment (e.g., ISO, FDA, or similar) is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality.
