We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join the European quality organization of an international, innovation-driven manufacturing company.
This is a newly created position combining customer quality, commercial support and cross-functional stakeholder management. The role is ideal for a quality professional who enjoys working directly with customers, translating complex requirements into practical internal actions and supporting the company’s expansion into highly regulated industries.
The customer portfolio includes both automotive and non-automotive industries, with growing business activities across sectors such as aerospace, aviation, industrial manufacturing and railway transportation.
Your responsibilities
– Manage and interpret customer-specific quality requirements.
– Translate external standards and customer expectations into applicable internal processes, product specifications and deliverables.
– Act as a quality interface between customers and internal stakeholders, including Sales, Product Management, Business Units, production facilities and corporate quality teams.
– Support the evaluation of quality requirements when entering new industries, markets or customer segments.
– Review and negotiate quality-related sections of customer contracts and quality assurance agreements.
– Support feasibility assessments and ensure quality requirements are considered throughout the commercial and product development process.
– Coordinate customer pre-audits, questionnaires, documentation requests and quality-related customer enquiries.
– Advise and support the Sales organization during customer discussions and contract negotiations.
– Prepare, coordinate and maintain relevant quality documentation.
– Support customer complaint management, including investigation coordination, documentation, escalation and communication.
– Monitor customer quality expectations and facilitate the implementation of appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
– Represent the voice of the customer within the organization.
What we are looking for
– Professional experience in quality engineering, customer quality, supplier quality or quality assurance.
– Solid knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management principles.
– Experience in the automotive sector is advantageous but not essential.
– Understanding of automotive quality requirements, customer-specific requirements or related quality processes is considered a plus.
– Experience reviewing contracts, quality agreements, specifications or customer documentation.
– Ability to understand complex customer requirements and translate them into practical actions.
– Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
– Commercial mindset and confidence working closely with Sales and customer-facing teams.
– Proactive, curious and comfortable working in a dynamic international environment.
– Fluent English is required.
– Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe
