A growing metals manufacturer is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality strategy across multiple manufacturing operations. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys improving systems, developing teams, partnering with operations, and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
This position reports directly to executive leadership and will oversee Quality Engineers and quality resources across multiple U.S. facilities. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable developing long-term strategy while remaining hands-on with daily manufacturing operations.
This role is hybrid, with significant time spent at the company's Mississippi manufacturing facility.
What You'll D
- oLead the Quality Management System across multiple manufacturing locations
- .Develop and execute quality strategies that improve customer satisfaction, operational performance, and business results
- .Drive continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis, 8D, RCCA, SPC, and other quality tools
- .Reduce customer PPM, warranty claims, scrap, rework, and overall Cost of Quality
- .Partner with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams to improve processes and product quality
- .Lead internal, customer, and supplier audits while ensuring ISO 9001 compliance
- .Develop corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurring quality issues
- .Establish quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting for senior leadership
- .Support new product launches, process improvements, and cross-functional projects
- .Lead, coach, and develop Quality Engineers while building a best-in-class quality organization
- .Manage departmental budgets and quality improvement initiatives
- .Promote a strong safety culture while supporting Environmental, Health & Safety programs

- s.Financial and business acumen with experience managing quality budget
