About the Company
We are currently seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in quantity surveying within construction projects, particularly healthcare facilities, with strong expertise in cost estimation, contract administration, and project cost control.
About the Role
The selected candidate will play a key role in managing project costs, evaluating variations, preparing reports, and ensuring financial efficiency throughout all project phases.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and tender documentation.
- Monitor project costs, variations, and budget performance throughout project execution.
- Review contractor payments, invoices, and valuation reports.
- Assist in contract administration and ensure compliance with project and contractual requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors regarding cost-related matters.
- Prepare progress reports, cost analysis reports, and financial updates.
- Support claims evaluation, variation orders, and final account settlements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- 5–8 years of experience in quantity surveying within construction projects.
- Mandatory healthcare project experience.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of cost control, contract administration, and construction practices.
- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
