Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced GSM-R Railway Resident Engineer to provide on-site support, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for GSM-R railway communication systems. The successful candidate will ensure network availability, performance, and operational continuity while coordinating with advanced support teams when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational and maintenance support for GSM-R railway communication systems.
- Perform daily health checks, monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
- Support NMS, BSS, Core Network, and related Huawei systems.
- Execute backup and restoration activities.
- Coordinate with L3/TAC teams for complex technical issues.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Ensure compliance with railway safety and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with GSM-R, railway communications, or mission-critical telecom networks.
- Strong knowledge of Huawei telecom solutions.
- Experience in operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecom systems.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- English proficiency is required.
