Job Description
Responsibilities
* Experimental Design & Setup:
Assist in the design, construction, and testing of an experimental apparatus.
* Simulation & Modeling:
Run computational simulations to replicate and analyze experimental results.
* Software Development:
Contribute to the development of software tools for sensitivity analysis and data processing.
* Documentation & Reporting:
Prepare technical reports summarizing results, methods, and progress.
* Dissemination of Results:
Support the preparation of posters and presentations, with opportunities to present findings at national conferences.
Required Qualifications
Qualifications
* Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Strong interest in experimental methods, numerical modeling, and/or software development.
* Basic proficiency in programming (Python, MATLAB, or similar) preferred.
* Familiarity with engineering simulation tools (ANSYS, COMSOL, etc.) is a plus, but not required.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
