This will ensure that activities relating to mechanical engineering and equipment packages within the assigned project are carried out efficiently and cost-effectively, in accordance with the contract specifications, quality standards and safety/environmental requirements.
We are urgently seeking a specialist – a Rotating Machinery Engineer specialising in gas turbine centrifugal compressors, preferably with experience of equipment from SIEMENS:
The candidate must be available to start work in Abu Dhabi immediately
- Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of proven hands-on experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Power Generation sectors, with a strong focus on rotating machinery.
- Specialized Knowledge: Deep, hands-on understanding of Gas Turbine operation/maintenance and Centrifugal Compressor aerodynamics/mechanics.
- Standards: Proficiency in relevant industry standards such as API 617 (Centrifugal Compressors) and API 616 (Gas Turbines).
- Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, proficiency in condition monitoring (vibration analysis, thermography), and excellent communication skills in English.
