Role Description The Sales Engineer role at FlowToSim is a part-time, remote position based in Egypt. The Sales Engineer will work closely with clients to understand technical requirements in hydraulic and flow assurance projects and translate them into tailored solutions using FlowToSim’s engineering capabilities and software tools. This role involves sending emails to relative companies [In Arabic Gulf] to introduce FloToSim an follow up up to getting proposals/projects awarded.
The Sales Engineer will collaborate with the engineering team to scope projects, estimate effort, and ensure accurate communication of technical features, benefits, and limitations. Daily responsibilities include managing customer inquiries, providing technical support during pre- and post-sales activities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and identifying new business opportunities in target markets.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and Sales skills to effectively match technical solutions with client requirements and drive revenue growth.
- Candidates should possess solid Technical Support capabilities to assist clients in understanding software tools, project deliverables, and engineering workflows.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to present complex concepts clearly, manage stakeholder expectations, and build long-term relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or related field) or an equivalent technical discipline is preferred.
- Ability to work remotely, collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in English for technical communication; additional language skills are beneficial.
